Central Sales Executive

The RoleThe Cox Automotive Enterprise Sales team represents a growing number of product brands within the Cox Automotive portfolio, supporting our vision to transform the way the world buy, sells, owns, and uses vehicles. When we do not directly represent a product brand, we collaborate with ''Business Specialists and Product Leads'' to ensure successful customer interactions, projecting a unified Cox Automotive brand image to maximize revenue and customer value.Scope of Role:The Central Sales Executive supports the profitable and sustainable growth of Cox Automotive''s market position within a designated region, focusing on small to medium-sized transactional auction customers. The role involves achieving financial targets primarily through the sale of auction-related products and services, utilizing a mix of new business acquisition, account management, and customer reactivation strategies. While mainly desk-based, some travel may be required.Objectives for Role:New Business DevelopmentManage a portfolio of customers, prospects, and inactive clients to meet volume, financial, and activity targets.Identify new business opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.Build relationships with new clients and decision-makers.Provide support for regular transactional customers and generate leads for regional and national teams.Develop a strong understanding of Cox Automotive''s products and industry competitors.Handle objections effectively to reach positive outcomes.Business Development PlanningProvide feedback on market and customer trends to inform future campaigns and product development.Participate in debriefs to improve business strategies.Business AdministrationMaintain accurate pipeline data and weekly progress reports.Ensure accounts are managed effectively and data is properly entered into Salesforce.com.Understand Cox Automotive''s vision and capabilities to enhance revenue and performance.Qualifications and Skills:Proven success in B2B sales, especially via telephone and desk-based methods.Knowledge of the automotive market and Cox Automotive products is advantageous.Experience working in target-driven environments with KPIs and SLAs.Strong pipeline development and client nurturing skills remotely.Confident presentation and interpersonal skills.Commercial awareness and CRM experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.We kindly ask that agencies do not contact us regarding this vacancy.
