Finance Manager

This role is dual function role primarily responsible for finance with some additional support for the Operations Director in terms of office management activity. Finance Manager Benefits Hybrid Working - 2 days wfh Flexible working (core hours 9.30 - 4.30) Free Parking Auto Enrolment Pension 25 Days annual leave Modern Offices - walking distance of the centre of town Finance Manager Responsibilities: Accurate process and reconciliation of invoices, employee expenses, supplier statements and cash receipts Account and Bank Reconciliations Review and code financial information Managing accounts payable and receivable Preparing monthly management accounts and quarterly financial reports Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Processing payroll and expenses Completing quarterly VAT returns Compile and review information for accuracy e.g. ensuring the month end balances from the bank statement match to the balances in Xero, Cashflow reporting Maintain records e.g. keeping any records sent from HMRC (Employment allowance, PAYE/NIC, Tax changes) are kept on record and up to date Using accountancy software (Xero) Assist with annual accounts Confirmation Statements Provide HR and Office support Finance Manager - Experience and Attributes Must be AAT qualified or equivalent with 5 years experience in a similar role or qualified by experience Experienced in all elements of accounts production and ma
