The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT hardware repair, refurbishment, and equipment maintenance, along with mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing IT equipment to ensure all devices meet our quality standards before leaving the facility. The Technician will play a key role in supporting our operations and delivering high-quality service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and IT equipment faults. Set up and configure computer networking systems. Carry out cosmetic repairs and refurbishment (eg applying vinyl skins to laptop lids and keyboards). Conduct upgrades and repairs, such as HDD, RAM, and GPU/graphics card replacement. Perform data sanitisation using approved erasure software. Operate data destruction plant machinery for secure disposal. Grade IT equipment in line with company standards. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, refurbishments, and quality checks. Test IT peripherals and operating systems prior to dispatch.
