Our client is seeking a skilled Field Engineer (CCTV, PA, Access Control) to join a growing team of Engineers supporting a high profile maintenance Contract covering railway station maintenance contract based in the South Wales Region.Key Responsibilities:Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various communication systemsHandle call-outs and be available for on-call dutiesFault-findingMaintain and install analogue and IP networked communications systems, including CCTV, CAT5/CAT6, display screens, and Public Address SystemsJob Requirements:You should be based in the South Wales areasBackground ideally in CCTV, Fire and Security, SISS, NVRs, VSS, Public Address Systems, display screens/CIS (analogue and digital), data networks, fibre, copper, CATV/CAT6Experience in maintenance or installation of communications systems and infrastructureFull UK driving licencePrevious railway experience is an advantage but not essentialWillingness to undergo a Railway Medical and Drug and Alcohol testing, as well as a DBS checkBenefits:On-call payments and overtime upliftsCompany van and fuel card providedPaid from door to doorPermanent opportunity working on a long-term maintenance contractTraining provided for working in the railway sectorSalary negotiable depending on experience 30,000 to 38,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
