We re looking for a Technical Designer to join our client. You ll be responsible for creating technical drawing packages for their projects, supporting other Technical Designers, and working closely with project teams to help deliver high-quality commercial projects. This is a hands-on role where you ll be involved from early surveys through to site delivery, acting as a technical specialist within your remit. What You ll Be Doing Creating technical drawing packages using AutoCAD Carrying out measured building surveys Working alongside project teams and attending site when needed Attending site meetings with clients and the wider project team Communicating with clients and sub-contractors by phone and email Printing and issuing drawing packs for site use and meetings Keeping drawing issue sheets up to date and managing revisions Issuing drawings to sub-contractors and clients Working closely with internal Design, Projects, and Finance teams Submitting Building Control applications and liaising with Building Control as required What We re Looking For Solid experience in Commercial Office Design and Build (DandB) A technical design / drawing-based qualification or qualified by experience Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations Experience with measured building surveys Advanced AutoCAD skills and good working knowledge of SketchUp Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Clear, professional communication skills with the
