The Role We are looking for a Painter and Decorator to join our team, delivering high-quality decorating works across a range of sites in the North Yorkshire area. Works will predominantly be based within Service Family Accommodations on behalf of MOD associated organisations. You will be responsible for site preparation, surface preparation, colour matching, and the application of paint and finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements. Responsibilities Prepare and paint surfaces to a consistently high standard Apply paints, coatings and finishes to internal and external surfaces Carry out surface preparation including sanding, filling and priming Apply specialist finishes such as stains and varnishes where required (Desirable) Hang a variety of wallcoverings Work collaboratively across a range of projects to meet programme deadlines Monitor decorating materials and request stock as required Ensure works are delivered within
