As Executive Director of Homes, Communities and Environment, you’ll lead the services that define the everyday experience of over 190,000 residents — from housing and environmental services to community safety, leisure, and open spaces.As the Executive Director of Homes, Communities and Environment, you’ll joining a council that’s serious about delivery. You’ll also play a key role in preparing the organisation for regulatory scrutiny and future reform, as such, you will need to hold, or be working towards, theCIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing, to be completed by 2028 in line with national regulatory requirements.We’re looking for a strategic leader with deep housing and community insight, someone who can navigate complexity, build strong partnerships, and bring clarity to challenge.
