Job Title: Production Manager - Viral Vector ManufacturingTaking accountability for the performance and line management of a team of biotechnologists.

Co-ordinating production activities and requirements with other departments to achieve the production schedule with minimal disruption, on an ''on call'' rota.

Ensuring all work within the manufacturing facility complies with GMP procedures.

Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for facility SOPs, batch documentation, CAPA, development, change controls, and GMP audits.

Deputising for the Production Manager in approving quality documents.

Leading all manufacturing processes within the GMP facility.

Leading process and continuous improvement projects to increase departmental efficiency.

Organising team training and reviewing/approving training records.

Qualifications:

Graduate in a science-based subject or experience working to GMP standards in an aseptic environment.

Knowledge of lentiviral vector manufacture is desirable.

Experience in biological/chemical manufacturing within an MHRA/FDA regulated environment.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Flexibility to work varying shift patterns (shift allowance payable).
