Due to continued growth, our client has a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. Are you an experienced Legal Cashier, an experienced Accounts Assistant - or are you looking to start your Accounts career having gained the qualifications - just hungry for the chance to get stuck in? What You ll Be Doing Assisting with day-to-day accounts and transactions Learning to manage client and office accounts in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRA) Supporting the finance team with invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations Helping fee earners with financial queries Developing your knowledge of legal accounting systems Checking client balances and working with fee earners to clear following completion, ensuring balances are returned promptly; Transferring costs and disbursements; Liaising with clients by phone to take card payments What We re Looking For Strong numeracy and attention to detail Good organisation skills and reliability Willingness to learn legal financial procedures Basic experience with Excel Experience of bookkeeping software would be an advantage A background in finance or legal support is desirable Accounts experience - or AAT qualified at some level Excellent communication skills Motivated, pro-active and highly organised, with good attention to detail Excellent time management skills Friendly, confident, polite, custome
