This is a rewarding frontline role supporting children, families and adult victims (male and female) living in domestic abuse safe accommodation.You will play a vital role in helping individuals rebuild their lives, regain independence and feel safe again ?" using a person-centred, trauma-informed approach.About the RoleAs a Domestic Abuse Support Worker, you will:Provide practical and emotional support to residents in domestic abuse safe accommodation.Manage a caseload of clients, offering tailored, one-to-one support.Complete needs and risk assessments and develop personalised support plans.Carry out ongoing risk assessments and safety planning.Support clients around domestic abuse, forced marriage, honour-based violence, and FGM.Work closely with local and national partner agenciesSupport residents to maintain their tenancy and move towards independent living.Travel between safe accommodation settings within the Walsall area as requiredWork on a rota basis, including evenings and weekendsAbout YouYou will be passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
