Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Analyst to join our team. In this hands-on lab-based role, you’ll be responsible for in-process/sample testing and testing final products to ensure compliance with quality standards. You’ll support production and quality improvements while ensuring health, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine chemical analysis to SOPsOperate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentsConduct in-process checks and environmental monitoring (as required)Record, verify, and report analytical data in line with ISO 9001 standardsSupport investigations into material/equipment failuresManage reagent stocks and maintain sample storageAssist in developing and validating SOPsEnsure correct PPE use and safe disposal of chemical wasteRequirements

HNC or higher in Chemistry or related scientific disciplineMinimum 2 years experience in an analytical laboratoryStrong knowledge of chemical analysis techniquesUnderstanding of ISO standards, COSHH, and health and safety protocolsGood documentation skills and attention to detailTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsDesirable

IOSH Working Safely or equivalentExperience with LIMS and deviation/OOS reportingFamiliarity with ISO 14001 and environmental monitoringThis is a great opportunity to develop your career in a well-established company with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Hours: Full continental shifts (4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights 5am/6am-5pm/6pm operating on a 7-week cycle then 18 days off)Pay - £34,000 per annumThis position is temporary ongoing and could potentially lead to a permanent position
