Mechanical Fitter / Engineer

My client in the Atworth area require experienced Mechanical Fitters.The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in working with hand tools and power tools. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling vechicle components to meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesUse hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.Install Panels on vechiclesSeak joints with Gel coatingsConduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any fabrication issues.RequirementsProven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineeringsector.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand drawings.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Hours of Work(Apply online only) Monday to Thursday & (Apply online only) on a FridayUp to 44hrs a weekRates of pay and BenefitsExtra day off for your BirthdayEnhanced Maternity and Paternity pay policies.Access to wellness programme and Employee Assistance Programmes, including WeCare from Canada Life (EAP with 24HR Online GP access and second Medical Opinion).Branded uniform.Death in service benefitIND123
