Hospitality Assistant / Barista role at BaxterStoreyLocation: Penguin Random House SW11 7BWSalary: £13.85 hourlyResponsibilities

Monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guests and clearing throughout the event.Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.Work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks.Serve guests with a high level of customer service with speed, efficiency and a friendly demeanor.Use coffee machines.Assist with ordering and deliveries as required.Prepare hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available and report shortages to the line manager.Count and pack away linen and equipment hired for an event after the event.Ensure hospitality rooms are left clean and tidy.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and contribute to an inclusive and safe working environment.Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner and address guests’ needs and requests efficiently.Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person.Great work ethic and a positive attitude.Good listening and verbal communication skills.Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.Works according to BaxterStorey core values and culture.Has a contagious passion for coffee, tea and customer service.Ability to adapt to challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.Previous experience in a similar role, especially in food service, is a plus.Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Benefits
