We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Handyperson for a leading University to be based on an iconic central London campus. This is a varied building services maintenance role where you will have the opportunity to work in a large estates team and be given plenty of opportunities to progress. In addition to a salary of £32,000 you will receive: 30 days holiday plus bank holidays Enhanced pension Opportunities for development and further training Season ticket loan This is a static role, working only a 35 hour week, Monday - Friday 8-4. Within this maintenance assistant role you will be: Carry out multi trade maintenance and planned maintenance Complete minor fabric repairs including repairing doors Legionella management and flushing duties Basic electrical maintenance Complete paperwork associated with planned maintenance promptly and to a high standard, by use of a CAFM system To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: Essential criteria 1. Previous demonstrated maintenance/fabric experience and supporting qualifications 2. Demonstrable mechanical, carpentry and electrical knowledge 3. IT literate particularly in Microsoft Office and use of CAFM systems 4. Good health and safety knowledge 5. IOSH Working Safely 6.
