Solicitor – Property (with Planning Experience)

Are you a highly skilled legal professional specializing in Property and Planning law£ Pertemps, partnering with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, is seeking an ambitious Solicitor ready to make a real impact on urban regeneration projects and key property transactions within a vibrant London borough.

What This Role Offers to Legal Experts
Deliver expert professional advice in Property Law including regeneration, compulsory purchase orders, acquisitions, and public-private partnerships, with crossover into Planning law.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, from council leadership to government departments, shaping projects that materially impact community transformation.
Work on complex, high-profile cases and contribute to governance, risk management, and legal compliance at the highest levels.
Lead or assist in hearings, public inquiries, appeals, judicial reviews in courts ranging from Magistrates to High Court and Court of Appeal.
Play a critical role in mentoring and developing legal colleagues and evolving the council’s legal frameworks and precedents.
Receive a competitive day rate of £450–£500 via Umbrella, reflecting the specialist expertise needed and high-impact nature of the work.

Hybrid Working at HandF Council
This role supports the Council’s hybrid working policy and requires a minimum of 2 days per week working from the office. This approach balances purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance and operational effectiveness.

About You
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Fellow authorized to practice in England and Wales.
Proven expertise in property law and planning matters, with local government experience preferred.
Strong negotiation, drafting, and advisory skills to deliver pragmatic, results-focused legal services.
Politically adept, resilient, and committed to delivering excellent client care and innovative legal solutions.
