Our Belgium team seeks to strengthen our presence in EU policy-making. Located in Brussels, our multidisciplinary team will involve you in EU projects from day one, providing training, career development, and support to help you become an expert in your fields of interest.This role supports our growth in European environmental policy and economics. It involves working on projects related to water, hazardous chemicals, industrial emissions, air quality, natural capital, ecosystem services, climate change, waste, and resources, among other areas. Experience in these areas is preferred, and you will join a company with a strong workload and growth strategy.The role requires proven experience in applying economic theories and socio-economic techniques to environmental policies at international levels, including cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis, impact assessments, valuation of health and environmental effects, and economic competitiveness assessments.This is an excellent opportunity for career development, diverse project exposure, and international travel in a friendly environment. European skills are particularly valued.QualificationsProven experience managing socio-economic projects related to environmental, health, or safety policies, preferably in a consultancy setting, with a focus on delivering quality work commercially.Strong mathematical and statistical modeling skills.Experience with survey design, market analysis, socio-economic analysis, and regulatory impact assessment.Familiarity with government and business statistics sources internationally.Experience in policy development techniques, including evaluation measures, impact assessments, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.Ability to develop networks, secure new business, and prepare successful proposals at senior levels.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Organizational skills, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.Undergraduate degree in economics or related field; focus on microeconomics or public policy is advantageous.Postgraduate qualification in economics or related discipline such as environmental science, engineering, law, or policy is preferred.
