Salary: c-60k65k basic plus competitive package inc car or allowance, health, bonus etc.

Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment are working alongside a well thought of Main Contractor operating across London who are looking to recruit an experienced an effective Quantity Surveyor to complement their Commercial Management team - the opportunity will be to join a team of surveyors on a large c-50m+ Leisure Centre project.

The opportunity has a clear pathway for progression with full support with further professional development and training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Commercial Management: Oversee daily functions from project inception through to practical completion and final accounts.
• Financial Controls: Manage accurate measurements, valuations, and timely applications for payment.
• Accounting: Lead account reconciliations to ensure financial transparency and project profitability.
• Procurement: Handle the full subcontract lifecycle, including enquiries, tender evaluations, and order placement.
• Contract Administration: Administer works under JCT and NEC frameworks (experience in one or both is highly advantageous).

Desirable Experience:

• Minimum 3 years+ experience (post graduation) as a QS.
• Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts would be advantageous.
• Good negotiation skills and previous experience procuring subcontractors would be advantageous.
• Previous Roles: Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Quantity Surveyor OR Commercial Manager OR Assistant Commercial Manager OR Project Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management/NVQ Level 6 or above, or comparable qualification.
