So why not get in touch today Cattery Assistant We are a busy independent cattery, looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time assistant to join our cattery team. The position will be based at Eden Barn Cattery, so transport to get there will be necessary. What will you be doing? (But not limited to) Cleaning cattery cages and ensuring boarders are comfortable and have appropriate food and water Cleaning the avian cages, including parrot cages and chicken pens and ensuring the boarders are comfortable and have appropriate food and water Cleaning the cages of the small furry boarders and ensuring they are comfortable and have appropriate food and water Taking client telephone calls for enquires of bookings Giving medication to animals that are staying with us General cleaning and restocking Admitting and discharging of boarders What are we looking for? The successful candidate must have the ability to adhere to strict procedures and protocols which are essential to ensure the welfare of the animals in our care. You must have at least a basic understanding of computers to ensure they have the ability to access our computer system, to take card payments and to be able to admit and discharge boarders.
