This role will support the needs of a fast-growing firm that is investing in technology to deliver improved internal and external client experience.Key Responsibilities

Act as an administrator for Aderant Expert, eBilling Hub and BillFiler, ensuring the systems available meet business needsSupporting in the management, maintenance and technical ownership of all practice management systems, their SQL environment and their related customisations and integrations to help ensure they meet business needsIdentify opportunities for system enhancements and work with teams to analyse, develop, test and implement changesProvide support service responding to queries from fee earners, secretaries, HR, BD and finance staffAssist with the evaluation of upgrades, patches and fixesAssist with the delivery of Finance and IT projectsKeep finance systems up to date as well as running regular systems routines such as month/year end processingPerform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems developmentDetermine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usabilityAnalyse workflows to develop efficient procedures and processes for all stakeholders. Assist application managers in translating business requirements into technical solutionsDocument processes, procedures and policies as specified by the firm''s management and auditorsWork with third party support providers and IT to seek resolution to logged issuesCreate ad-hoc reports for business applicationsCreate and execute T-SQL scripts and stored proceduresProvide support on current Finance Systems projects and review of current working practices with a view to streamline and improvementAny other duties assigned by the Head of Financial Systems from time to timeSkills Knowledge and Expertise

We are seeking a confident, proactive, and solutions oriented individual with 5 years + experience working with accounting systems, ideally within a law firm or other professional services environment.You will need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the business, demonstrating confidence in your own judgement.Experience of working with SQL/SSRS is essential as well as the ability to run queries unsupervised and a willingness to upskill on the job through internal and external trainingAbility to source data in response to ad-hoc data requests either via standard PMS reports or running SQL queries where requiredPrior experience using Aderant Expert would be desirableAble to demonstrate high levels of discretion, sensitivity and confidentialityExcellent attention to detail – a high level of accuracy is essentialSolutions orientated and proactive approach to workTeam player – flexible and willing to take on extra responsibilities to support departmental or firm objectivesIf you are motivated and excited by the prospect of working within our innovative and dynamic culture, we would be delighted to hear from you.
