Digital and Social Media Manager - Vice President at Citi. Role within the Communications team of Enterprise Services and Public Affairs to support reputation management and drive engagement on Citi’s social media and digital channels. In partnership with the Head of Digital Content and Social Media, develop and drive Citi’s social media and digital content strategyWork with the team to advance Citi’s core communications goals and objectives across social and digital channelsAssist in development of content and/or content strategy to support core social media campaigns across corporate and executive channelsSupport content management on Citigroup.com, liaising between technology and communications, marketing or business stakeholders to make regular content updates, support core initiatives and execute campaigns on the websiteAct as a day-to-day lead for reputation management on social media, using social listening tools to identify trends and opportunities relevant to Citi and monitor key issues and conversationsCoordinate content scheduling and publishing across corporate social channels using content management tools, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify overlaps and gaps across business units or initiativesProvide guidance and counsel on content distributionWork with stakeholders to create custom web experiences surrounding key events and activations, balancing new requests with existing priorities and firmwide initiativesAssist in sourcing and developing creative assets for optimal use and performance across channels, partnering with creative and media teams when neededSupport digital and social media elements of live and virtual events in partnership with PR, production and digital teamsUse metrics reports and monitoring to continually adapt and improve Citi’s social media and web presenceStay knowledgeable about new trends, best practices and opportunities in social/digital space, identifying white space and opportunities for CitiMaintain brand voice consistency across business units and activationsPartner with Communications leadership and teams to inform and advise on ongoing work and opportunitiesAssess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi’s reputation and assets, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating control issues with transparencyWhat we’ll need from you
Knowledge of communications or marketing with significant responsibility, preferably in a large and complex organizationExtensive knowledge of social media channels and platformsAbility to distill complex subject matter into easily understood digital contentAptitude for developing and shaping compelling content for internal and external audiencesAbility to adapt content across social and digital channelsSubject matter expertise in social media platforms and trendsStrong grasp of social listening and social media issues managementExperience interfacing with technical rolesKnowledge of SEO and Generative SEO fundamentalsFamiliarity with content management tools such as SprinklrGeneral understanding of AI tools and their application in CommunicationsStrong attention to detailProven ability to implement initiatives and drive projects forwardStrong written, verbal and interpersonal communications, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executivesIntegrity, maturity, dependability and positive professional attitudeTeam player with ability to motivate others and work in a matrixed organizationExcellent organizational and project management skillsExperience delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentEducation
