Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in a positive classroom environment£ We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to work with primary schools in the Slough area. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational experience of lower Key Stage 2 pupils.
About the Role:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons for Year 4 pupils
- Provide focused support to individual children or small groups to help meet specific learning needs
- Help create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported
- Support the preparation and organisation of resources and learning materials
- Encourage positive behaviour and help spark a genuine enthusiasm for learning among Year 4 learners
The ideal candidate will:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
- Previous experience supporting Year 4 or other Key Stage 2 pupils is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping Year 4 children learn and grow
