This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end hire process, ensuring equipment and resources are allocated efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesManage incoming hire requests, providing timely and accurate quotationsCoordinate the scheduling, delivery, and collection of hired equipmentLiaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operationsMonitor equipment availability and utilisation to maximise efficiencyMaintain accurate records of hire contracts, invoices, and asset trackingResolve any issues or delays quickly and professionallyEnsure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standardsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliersSkillsPrevious experience in a hire desk, rental, logistics, or coordination roleStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesGood IT skills, including experience with booking or scheduling systemsA proactive and problem-solving mindset
