Trade Floor Team Assistant – Leading Investment Bank
Temp to perm
Near St Pauls and Farringdon
Office-based 5 days per week
£40-42k per annum equivalent
8 am – 5 pm, with flexibility
This role offers an incredible opportunity for an Assistant who can demonstrate tenacity, desire to succeed, professionalism and integrity. Demonstrating this skillset will be rewarded with support, training and the opportunity to work and learn from Assistants who are the some of the best in the industry.
Experience of supporting large teams, within a corporate and professional environment is a must for this role.
This role will involve a high volume of complex international travel, management of multiple busy diaries across multiple time zones, and the opportunity to get involved with projects and events.
Teams tend to consist of 4-5 Managing Directors, with a wider team of 20-25, so you must be happy juggling multiple tasks, working under pressure and to a fast and accurate pace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Diary and calendar managementCoordinating and scheduling of meetings and conference calls across multiple time zonesManaging high volume of phone calls and emails, relaying information in a timely and accurate mannerCoordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs across multiple locationsCoordinating travel arrangements for the team, including: Visa applications, International flight and accommodation bookings and car bookingsExpense management and preparationTaking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflowSupporting teams in day to day issues, needs and queriesProviding phone / holiday coverage for colleagues
WHO YOU ARE:
You must have experience of working as a Team Assistant within a busy and demanding corporate environment, supporting a team of 10+ people.Experience of working as a PA / Team Assistant within Financial Services would be highly advantageousExcellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skillsAble to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasksDemonstrate dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-taskDisplay a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone and by e-mail to various levelsComfortable working with people at all organizational levels, internally and externallyMust be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environmentFlexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teamsBe resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issuesPro-active attitude when managing diariesDiscretion to deal with confidential business mattersFriendly and approachable with can do, muck in attitude.
