Be responsible for the registration and release of data managed in configurationVerify the integrity, validity and maintenance of records relating to the data, including traceability and history over the entire life cycle; verify the completeness of technical and non-technical data (internal and external)Ensure provision of up-to-date data to the relevant functionsRecord configuration baselines and provide status on identified gaps or omissionsTranslate configurations decisions into the tool as requiredAct as a configuration management tool (PLM) expert and provide support to the project/product teamArchive obsolete dataProfile / Qualifications
You graduated with a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) and have experience in configuration management processesYou are a communicator and a team player, willing to help and establish strong relationships with the teamYou are methodical and meticulous with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skillsYou are proactiveCompetencies
Understand configuration management processes and tools through contractual requirements and stakeholders’ needsFoster continuous improvement and encourage a culture of feedbackAble to multi-task and prioritise without requiring regular direct supervisionSupport the team with knowledge of configuration management tools and the Product Lifecycle Management domain (tools, technical data, reporting)Ability to establish and meet deadlinesUnderstand the importance of data integrityLife at Thales – Configuration Management Administration
