My client are currently looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow. You will be working with a successful manufacturer that has recently experienced an impressive investment and upturn in sales. This role is based on a rotating shift pattern (early, back, night) - 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00.The company are well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer. Duties and Responsibilities:Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdownsElectrical fault findingFault finding on PLC systemsGeneral electrical / mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilitiesWorking closely with the process engineering and quality engineering teamsSupporting colleagues with project workQualifications and Experience: A time served apprenticeshipExperience of maintenance gained in the manufacturing sectorExperience of fault finding on PLC systemsKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
