Are you an experienced and compassionate Primary Teacher with a strong grasp of the Year 5 curriculum£ A warm and welcoming Ofsted-rated andlsquo;Goodandrsquo; school on the outskirts of Salisbury is looking for a dedicated teacher to join their team from September 2025 for a maternity cover role.

This is a friendly, supportive school with a positive team culture and a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing and progress. The school serves a somewhat transient community, with many pupils from military families, and places a high value on stability, empathy, and inclusion.

The Role:

You will be taking full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of behaviour and progress. The role is initially until December 2025, but there is a strong likelihood of extension.

• Has a solid understanding of Year 5 curriculum objectives
• Can deliver high-quality teaching and learning with clear progression

• Is warm, proactive, and a true team player
