An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Line Manager to join a forward-thinking engineering team at a market leading manufacturing company. You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, driving efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The Role:
- Compliance with all environmental policies, ISO 9000,
- Staff disciplinary and mentoring,
- Safe systems of work,
- Development of training matrix to ensure skill grades and succession planning within the department, maintain Staff Training Records and a good level of housekeeping.
- Day to day management of labour to ensure production targets are met including the re-distribution of labour to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Adhere to the company''s defined quality procedures.
- Skills training to give improved flexibility across all areas of the business, including the maintenance of training records for all staff.
- Material stock rotation in line with best working practices.
- Logistical integration of bought out parts into the process to ensure any secondary processes are completed in line with production requirements.
- Co-ordination of the manufacturing process to ensure planned maintenance programs are adhered to and managed in-line with the company''s mainsaver maintenance program.

About You:
- Engineering background
- A successful track record of working within a manufacturing /maintenance environment ideally within woodworking/FMCG/Packaging.
- Apprentice trained
- Experience overseeing fast paced production lines
