The Finance Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the accounting and finance department within a fast-paced environment.Client DetailsThe company is committed to excellence in its field and values precision and efficiency in its financial operations.DescriptionReceiving a weekly sales report, checking and creating subsequent invoicesMoving stock on accounting system to reflect physical movements Creating Invoices for other multiple customersAllocation of customer paymentsProducing a weekly debtors reportChasing any outstanding debtEstablishing root cause why customers are not paying (i.e. shortage on delivery, invoice not uploaded etc)Working closely with sales agent/fellow team members to investigate non-payment by customersCreating export invoices on an ad hoc basisProfileA successful Finance Assistant should have:A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.Proficiency in financial software and tools.An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.Job OfferThis is a part time role working 21 hours a weekPermanent roleOpportunities for professional development and growth.Supportive and collaborative company culture.
