Principal Systems Engineer

with significant radar domain knowledge to join a high-profile defence project in Edinburgh. This role is suited to systems-thinkers who enjoy working across the lifecycle of complex, integrated solutions.You will play a critical role in the development and delivery of advanced Fire Control Radar capabilities, supporting a major UK defence programme.Key Responsibilities:Lead systems engineering activities across the design and development lifecycleEngage in problem definition and solution architectureDevelop models, simulations, and performance predictionsParticipate in system integration, verification and validation activitiesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders on technical direction and deliveryWe are particularly interested in individuals with experience in one or more of the following:Problem Definition and Systems ArchitectureSynthetic Environments and Real-Time Data Simulation/GenerationVerification and ValidationSystem of Systems integrationDigital Signal Processing and RF SystemsMulti-sensor Data Fusion and TrackingSkills and Experience:Proven track record working on complex radar or defence-related systemsStrong systems engineering methodology knowledgeAbility to lead or contribute to technical decision-making across teamsSC Clearance (or eligible and willing to undergo clearance)This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-leaning team driving innovation in the defence sector.To express your interest, please contact:Seniority level
