Position: Shift ManagerLocation: Haverhill, SuffolkSalary: 40-45K, commensurate with experienceShift Pattern: AfternoonsNicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Shift Manager, to join a market leading client in Haverhill.You will be responsible for co-ordinating the operational management of the department and optimising profitability in conjunction with short and long-term business strategies, goals and objectives. You will lead and direct all High-Risk functions to fulfil all existing and potential customer requirements and expectations in terms of delivery, efficiency, food safety and quality.You will have:A fundamental understanding and knowledge of all line equipment and throughput requirements.The ability to identify and pre-empt potential operating problems.Numerate, articulate and an effective communicator.Natural self-starter, able to engage and motivate others.Ability to problem solve, identify potential issues and proactively act accordingly, taking appropriate actions in a timely manner.Holistic view of line, area and wider business general day-to-day requirements.Personal ownership of line achievement.Willing to learn from experiences, to work in a productive and professional way with other departments and staff.
