Fire Door Joiner - Remedial and Installation WorksLocation: North YorkshireJob Type: Long-Term Temporary ContractAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to work on a long-term temporary contract carrying out remedial works and new fire door installations across residential and commercial properties.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner looking for consistent, ongoing work with a well-established contractor.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out fire door remedial works in line with current fire safety regulationsInstall new fire doors, frames, and associated ironmongeryUpgrade existing doors to meet compliance standardsInstall intumescent strips, smoke seals, hinges, closers, and signageComplete adjustments and repairs to existing fire doorsAccurately complete job sheets and compliance paperworkEnsure all works are compliant with BS 8214 and manufacturer guidelinesMaintain high standards of workmanship and site safetyRequirementsProven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner (fire door experience essential)Strong understanding of fire door compliance and regulationsExperience in both remedial works and full installationsOwn tools requiredBasic DBS (willing to get one done)Valid CSCS cardFull UK Driving Licence (preferred)FIRAS/BM TRADA experience desirable but not essentialIf intereted in the role, please apply with your CV or contact Josh on (phone number removed)
