Accounts Payable Assistant 28,000 - 30,000 Dartford, Kent (office based) My client, a leading organisation, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy finance team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role, taking full responsibility for processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate and timely payments. ResponsibilitiesProcess, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices and credit notes accuratelyPrepare and schedule payment runs (including multi-currency payments) in line with agreed termsReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptlyMaintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end close processesLiaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve queries and maintain strong relationshipsAssist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards SkillsProven experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger rolesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume processingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting softwareExcellent organisational and multitasking skillsStrong communication skills for engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Package 28,000 - 30,000 basic salary25 days holiday + bank holidaysFree parkingMonday - Friday
