Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support students with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
• Assist with lesson delivery under the direction of teaching staff
• Foster positive relationships to support emotional regulation and social development
• Promote an inclusive learning environment tailored to individual student needs
• Contribute to behaviour management strategies and pastoral care

What We’re Looking For in a Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within an SEMH or SEN setting
• Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of commitment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• A desire to help young people overcome barriers to learning
