Job Role: European Retail Stocks AnalystProduce high-quality insights into European retail stocks in a pragmatic and timely manner. Initially, this will involve analyzing over twenty retail names within a two-year timeframe.

Convert research into investment ideas, directly taking positions within our analyst fund and indirectly influencing billions of dollars of client assets.

Communicate clearly, succinctly, and promptly with our investment partners.

Promote the highly collegiate and welcoming internal culture of JPM.

The role involves conducting long-term fundamental research to generate investment insights and communicating these to our Portfolio Manager partners. Candidates must be willing to take risk; success is measured by the ability to produce alpha over the long term. The ideal candidate will combine detailed, insightful research skills with a passion for investing.

Requirements include:

A passion for investing and willingness to take risk.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

At least five years of experience covering stocks on the sell-side or buy-side. Knowledge of retail or consumer sectors is a plus but not essential.
