This is a site-based contract role offering 350- 400 per day (umbrella), with the opportunity to make a major impact in resolving critical housing disrepair issues.Key Responsibilities:Manage a large disrepair caseload (1000+ cases in total), progressing each one individually to resolution.Conduct site inspections, identifying and reporting on issues such as damp and mould, structural faults, and other property-related disrepair.Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for action.Attend court hearings where required (rare but possible).Ensure compliance with HHSRS and/or CIH standards and housing legislation.Liaise with legal teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve cases efficiently.Requirements:Proven experience in disrepair surveying, ideally within social housing or local authority environments.Strong knowledge of damp and mould diagnosis, HHSRS, and housing compliance.Hold a relevant qualification or membership (e.g. HHSRS certified, CIH, or equivalent).Able to attend court if necessary and confidently represent technical findings.Basic DBS check required (can be processed prior to start).Full UK driving licence - mileage is claimable.Contract Details:Rate: 350- 400 per day (via umbrella)Type: ContractSta
