History Teacher Specification

History Teacher: We are looking for a dynamic and versatile History Teacher who has a passion for education and someone who has the ability to pass this on to their students. You must be able to teach History to key stages 3 and 4. The ability to offer a second subject would be an advantage. This is a Full-time teaching role. This is a Secondary School teaching position starting in ASAP.

Responsibilities will include:

• Teaching History to key stage 3 and 4
• Planning lessons and writing schemes of work
• Marking responsibilities
• Working as part of the History department, being able to offer a second subject would be an advantage
• Taking part in parent''s evenings, staff meetings and training and extra-curricular activities if required

The school is looking for a History Teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. Candidates must be a fully qualified Secondary School Teacher with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching.
