Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am

Recruitable Staffing are proud to be recruiting for a 5 Axis Laser Setter / Operator on behalf of a manufacturing business based in the Coventry area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong background in machine setting and operation. The successful candidate will play an important role in producing high-quality components in line with production schedules, customer specifications, and quality standards.
 
The role will involve setting and operating 5-axis laser cutting machinery, reading and working from engineering
drawings, and ensuring parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently. This position would suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a strong eye for detail, and is confident working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate 5-axis laser cutting machinery
• Manufacture components in line with production schedules
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to support accurate setup and production
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings where required
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship
• Support with additional tasks as required by the business

Requirements

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Experience setting machinery to meet drawing tolerances and customer specifications
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Able to work to deadlines and production schedules
• Previous experience operating or setting 5-axis laser machinery

Desirable

• Experience of Prima Power control systems
