Located on the edge of the charming seaside town of Seaton, Thornfield Care Home provides personalised Residential, Dementia and Respite care for up to 52 residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in supporting others and is ready to make a real impact.What We Offer:£13.20 per hour with paid breaksContracted full-time or part-time hours availableShift patterns: 07:00 to 20:15, 07:00 to 15:00, or 15:00 to 20:15Free DBS, uniform and onsite parkingPension scheme and 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract)Ongoing training, development and genuine career progression within a supportive, values-driven organisationAs Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your care team to provide the best possible care to our residents. You will play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and homely environment where every resident feels respected and valued. You will administer medication, lead handovers, maintain care plans, and act as a role model to your colleagues.What We’re Looking For:Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3 or already be enrolledIdeally previous experience in a Senior or Team Leader care roleExperience administering medication and supporting a teamA calm, compassionate and supportive approachGreat communication and a team-focused mindsetAbout Us: Thornfield Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned, market-leading care provider with over 100 homes across the UK.
