About the role: Removal of litter Servicing street litter bins Street sweeping Removing weeds, graffiti, fly-tipping and fly-posting Gathering evidence required for prosecutions Driving a Council Streetscene vehicle Steam cleaning We are looking for someone who: Experience of working independently and part of the team Experience of working outdoors in all conditions and a willingness to complete a number of cleansing tasks as directed Capable of working effectively without supervision Able to complete daily and weekly task sheets, where appropriate Capable of diverting working schedules as directed in response to emerging issues i.e spillages, accidents et. Build effective working relationships with colleagues Physically able to operate a variety of cleansing machinery and undertake a number of cleansing activities including manual cleansing and weeding Able to handle bagged and bulky waste and transfer to relative collection areas Able to comply with HandS requirem
