Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendorsUndertake a sales handover to interpret and understand the scope of worksOverall responsibility for the health, safety and environmental management of all projects within your portfolioProvide direction, control and implementation of projectsBe responsible for the commercial performance of the projectMonitor, review and report on the progress of all projects to the customer, senior PM, leader and staffDrive standardization throughout the organizationEngage with Supply Chain and Subcontract organizations, raising third party contracts, managing project quality and commercial accountsProvide regular reports to project leadershipUndertake risk reviewsValidate assumptions made during solutions design. Build a detailed cost estimate and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. Assist in performing proposals and other customer communications documentsWhat we look for: Required:Project management experience (min 5 years) in the construction industry, with experience in BMS and control systemsExperience working on large projects, with a track record for delivery. Typical projects will be £2-£4M in valueAbility to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levelsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audienceAbility to use Microsoft Excel, Word and ProjectComfortable working as part of a team, managing remote resourceStrong financial and commercial acumenPreferred:Experience working within Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure environmentsValid CSCS site card and SSSTS certifiedHigh Level BMS knowledge with key understanding of engineering principlesWorking knowledge of Metasys systems would be an advantage in both industrial and commercial environmentsKnowledge of Metasys, Tridium, Trend or any OEM BMS platformExperience working within Construction Sites with MandE main contractorsAt Johnson Controls, you’ll be part of a company that values innovation, sustainability, and professional growth.
