Senior Commercial Property Solicitor (Locum) - Up to £58/hr - Remote - South EastPanoramic Associates is working with a South East-based local authority seeking to appoint a Locum Principal Property Solicitor to join their legal services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact position within a collaborative and well-regarded legal department.Role: Principal Property Solicitor (Locum)Rate: up to £58 per hour (DOE, umbrella)Contract: Initial 3 months, rollingHours: 26-37 hours per week (flexible, part-time or full-time)Working Pattern: Can be offered remoteStart Date: ASAP - ideally within the next 2-3 weeksCore Responsibilities:Manage a complex and varied caseload of local authority property matters independentlyDraft and negotiate leases, licences, transfers, agreements, and other legal documentationHandle commercial lease management, property disposals, appropriations, and development agreementsProvide legal advice on council-owned assets, including housing stock, charitable property, and community-use sitesDeal with CPSC inquiries and assist in matters under s123 of the Local Government Act 1972Support colleagues across the property legal teamWhat We''re Looking For:Qualified Solicitor with an active practising certificate in England and Wales3+ years'' PQE in commercial propertyStrong understanding of local authority legal frameworks, including the Local Government ActAbility to work autonomously and prioritise a busy caseload with minimal supervisionIf you''re interested, please click apply or contact Georgia Macmenemey at 077488889497 or via email to discuss the role and day-to-day duties in more detail.
