Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hurstwood, Manchester
Salary: -26,000 - -35,000 Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and growing construction business to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for their team based in Hurstwood, Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company delivering high-end residential and commercial projects, including luxury developments valued at -1 million+, often for high-profile clients.

This role is ideally suited to someone at the early stages of their Quantity Surveying career who is looking to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You''ll gain hands-on experience across prestigious projects while working closely with an experienced commercial team.

• Assisting with cost planning, estimates, and budgeting
• Supporting the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor packages
• Monitoring costs, variations, and project financial performance
• Supporting valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Assisting with reporting and commercial analysis
• Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Early career experience (including placements or up to around 1-2 years in a similar role)
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• A motivated individual keen to learn, develop, and grow within a business long-term
