Our client has an excellent portfolio of projects in active development, hugely stable funding & investment, as well as strong ambitions & plans to transition into an IPP model in the near future.

Following their exciting pipeline, they are now looking to expand their team through the hire of a CAD Design Engineer to help support their design processes across their solar and battery storage projects.

Role: CAD Design Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £35,000-£45,000

In this role, your key responsibilities are –
-Preparing high-quality CAD and GIS drawings to support land agreements, planning applications and project development
-Producing option, lease and red-line plans for legal and commercial use
-Developing preliminary solar PV and BESS layouts, designs and site constraints plans
-Carrying out early-stage site assessments and feasibility analysis

We are looking for previous experience such as –
-A degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, renewable energy, geography, or a related discipline
-Around 2+ years’ experience in CAD design and/or GIS analysis, ideally within renewables, infrastructure or the built environment
-Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) and GIS software
-Experience with Solar PV and BESS technologies and system components
