Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Quality Technician / Quality Engineer to support within their QA Department. This is a temporary contract, initially for 6 months, possibly longer. They are looking for someone who can start immediately. Salary: Circa 36,000 Hours of work: Normally 8.00am to 4.10pm, Monday to Friday (could change in relation to supporting holiday cover). PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: You have recent experience as a Quality Engineer / Quality Technician / QA Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician, ideally in the Automotive industry. You have experience of Calibration, Metrology and Warranty investigations. Ideally you have knowledge of Core Tools principles. You have an understanding of the IATF 16494 accreditation. You can start with short notice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: You will be involved in matters relating to quarantine, rework and reintroduction of products. You will be assisting with control and corrective actions of non-conforming products. Interaction will be necessary between suppliers and customers.
