Maintenance Engineer

Location- Warrington
Salary- £50,500 per annum
Shifts- Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)
Holidays- 25 Days Holiday

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a global, stable, and well-established business based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their skills, with outstanding training and development available, including PLC programming courses (Profinet / Profibus).

You’ll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical and electrical issues
• Stripping down machinery and rebuilding equipment
• Replacing worn mechanical components such as bearings, sprockets, chains, and belts
• Electrical fault finding on control panels
• Changing and configuring inverters and drives
• Monitoring and supporting PLC-controlled systems
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
• Strong fault-finding skills in industrial/manufacturing environments
• Experience working with PLC systems (training provided for advanced programming)
• Knowledge of inverters, drives, motors, and control panels
• Willingness to work a Panama shift pattern (days & nights)
