Children''s Residential Support Worker (Days - Long Days)Location: DoncasterService: Children''s residential home supporting children with learning difficultiesHours: Minimum 40 hours per week (Long Days, Long Days sleeps)Shift requirement: Must be able to work 07:45-22:00Contract: Full Time, Permanent Pay: £12.25-£13 depending on experience The RoleYou''ll provide consistent, high-quality care and support to children with learning difficulties, promoting independence, safety and positive outcomes within a nurturing residential setting. You''ll work as part of a strong, established team with excellent staffing ratios.What You''ll DoSupport children with daily routines, personal care (where required), education, activities and community accessBuild trusted, trauma-informed relationships and implement support plans and risk assessmentsPromote safeguarding, dignity, choice and positive behaviour supportComplete accurate records, reports and handoversWork long-day shifts (07:45-22:00) as part of a rota (no back-to-back shifts)What We''re Looking ForEssentialMinimum 1 years'' experience in a children''s residential setting or closely related care (learning difficulties/complex needs)Driver with access to a vehicleAble to commit to minimum 40 hours per weekAble to work 07:45-22:00 long-day shiftsCannot work 2 shifts in a row (service policy)DesirableExperience with PBS/LD/ASCUp-to-date training (safeguarding, medication, first aid)Pay and BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate (DOE)Sleeps
