Building Safety Lead

Location: Saltisford, CV34 4UL
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 26.86 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant building safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of building facilities to identify potential safety hazards.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure the effective implementation of safety measures.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports on safety inspections and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Act as the point of contact for any safety-related inquiries and issues.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in building safety management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of current building safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in safety management are desirable.
• Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
