Flexible, may rotate depending on production needs. A well-established chilled food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee daily production operations. This is a hands-on role for someone confident managing a team on the production floor while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities. Print and review daily production plans and paperwork. Complete pre-start checks, including equipment, hygiene, temperatures, and CCPs. Communicate the daily plan to the team and allocate tasks effectively. Oversee cooking of sauces to recipes and specifications. Manage packing and palletising of sauces for transfer to another site. Maintain high GMP, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the shift. Monitor production performance, resolve operational issues, and manage line start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns. Ensure all production, quality, and safety paperwork is completed accurately and handed to the Line Manager. Ensure effective cleaning is completed at the end of the shift.
