Health and Safety Co-ordinator I am delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Co-ordinator for my Client based in Dewsbury.My Clients upmost priority is to ensure that each Employee leaves safely each day as they had arrived at the start of their shift.You will provide the support for approximately 150 Employees with the health and safety guidance, knowledge and communication to ensure full compliance with current legislations.Your Duties will include: Day to day management of the Health and Safety operations Ensure that safety standards, policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to, and to ensure compliance with legislation Take ownership of, develop and continuously update the Safe Systems of Working (SSOW) and SOP S and ensure all appropriate training is administered/provided to the workforce Manage Incident, accident investigations and near miss reporting Identify potential hazards and advise on eliminating / reducing risks Manage/audit the provision of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment ensuring that any risks associated to tasks are managed/minimised Manage, administer and deliver site inductions for new starters Hold and manage EHandS committee meetings Provide timely information and documentation to support the Company claims handling process as required Work under own initiative and be capable of prioritising highest risk issues, planning workloads and following through to completion or implementation Undertake site in
