SEN Teaching Assistant Alternative Provision School Chesterfield (S40) £95-£110 per day Long Term Role Starting September 2025 Opportunity: Join a dedicated team at a specialist Alternative Provision (AP) School in Chesterfield, supporting students with autism, behavioural challenges, and complex needs who require a more tailored educational environment than mainstream settings can offer. This is a long-term, full-time role starting in September 2025, ideal for experienced SEN practitioners looking to make a lasting impact. Responsibilities: Deliver tailored support under the direction of the SENCo to meet the needs of pupils with autism and behavioural issues. Helping maintain a calm, and structured learning environment using effective behaviour management strategies. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs. Help pupils stay engaged in class by adapting resources and tasks as needed. Promote inclusion and support students'' emotional and academic development. Assist students in developing independence, organisation, and confidence.
